Problem no. 2: A very important question to finance specialists in poland

A lot of educated people in the finance and banking field in poland are terrified by the prospect of massive contract voidance. In my opinion, it is a bit too late to be terrified. Economy specialist in Poland did let foreign currency mortgage loans be sold on massive scale to people who get salaries in local currency. They let that happen. It was ten or fifteen years ago when they should have been terrified. They should have predicted the immense impact of increase of CHF exchange rate not just on households, but on the whole national economy. But they were stupid or unaware - just like the borrowers. But they are specialists - high level of education (doctors and professors).

Now they are complaining and warning about a destructive effect of the loans.

In our opinion, if many contracts are made void then there is nothing to be afraid of. This situation is similar to a situation in which the CHF exchange rate goes up to say 6- 10 zl / CHF. That would be disastrous! If such a situation arises, banks will never regain CHF from their clients. Clients will go bankrupt. Loans will not be protected by the value of real estate properties ( LTV >> 1 ). And this situation should have been predicted by the experts in economy. But they did not predict that - maybe experts in Poland simply lack competencies.
